Arduino Based Electric Drive for Single Phase Induction Motor
In this project, “ARDUINO” is used as a control unit to generate SPWM signals. A code for
the SPWM signal is developed in Arduino software. The output of an ARDUINO is fed to HBridge through gate drive, The H-Bridge provide SPWM pulses of high voltages when these
signal pass through a low-pass filter we get an output waveform which is nearly a sin wave,
similarly we will generate an another sin wave which is 90 degree out of phase compare to
previously generated waveform. These two sine waves are fed to main winding and auxiliary
windings of single phase induction motor respectively
It is observed that when the supply is given to the model, the modulation of power flow from source to motor takes place by acquiring various techniques and programming in such a manner that the single phase induction motor becomes self starting and thereby runs efficiently thereafter.
